I have the following items in my collection, that I was going to get it
working and use it as CW transmitter, then again I'm thinking about
selling it and buy something that I can plug and play.
So..my question to you all is how much are they worth. They were made by
Bendix Radio for Navy Department with contract dated 20 May, 1940.
Aircraft Radio Transmitter, Model ATD
Made by Bendix Radio, Baltimore, MD
Type CRR-52253
ATD tuning unit Type CRR-47208,47209,47210(2 units).

I have been very happy with my FT-411E. It has performed flawlessly. It
is a great solid small unit. My only gripe is that it doesn't have a keyboard
protector like the Kenwoods. I have to keep it in its case which makes it
kind of hard to press the keys(you do it through the transparent plastic).
It also works great on the public service bands.(receive-only, of course).

HP>Do you have an Icom R1 or have knowledge about it?
HP>What do you think of this radio? What have you heard about it?
The R1 stinks, I own one, Im sorry I own one.
Selectivity, none.
Intermod, aplenty.
No channel banks, just 100 contigous.
But it is very small, has good audio. But Icom should have done better.

Okay, when someone said that they'd offer a 100 watt HF rig for $300, I
thought "Yowser!"... BUT, it's possible I suppose...
However, a 20-amp power supply for $20!?!!?!?!?!?
No way.
Please note that I'm not ragging on you, just the prices and wherever the
rumor started... Amazing.
I wouldn't mind seeing Radio Shack do an HF rig, though, as long as it's
not marketed as a multi-band CB like some fear...

Yeah, the power supply will be $9.95, not $19.95...
